Wellness Branding

“This project was branded with the intent to instill a calmness amongst its viewers as well as a sense of reflection on behavior.”

Advantages of using Hex

Color Theory

This is my strongest area in graphic design. My pen name ‘Avi Hex’ is borrowed from the Hex Color code. For those not familiar, Hexadecimal color is a human-friendly representation of values in binary code.
I’ve studied color for years because it was my weakest skill when I first left art school. Which has left me with a vast knowledge of how Hue, Saturation, Tints & Shades affect the human psyche.

Market Research

While building my 3rd personal business, I faced the importance of market research. In my industry, trends & rankings change fast. So rather than pay a researcher quarterly for up-to-date info. I taught myself how to not only find the relevant info, but how to organize it in a visually pleasing manner.
I still pay for access to exclusive search databases and provide those results to my clients in an easy-to-read chart.

S.E.O.

Search engine optimization is a well-known term for any creator or business that has tried to create an online presence. It’s so prevalent that S.E.O. tips are built into WordPress automatically when uploading a website. These automations don’t let you know how much traffic your chosen terms are seeing on an avg. basis, or how much competition you may be up against versus other internet monoliths. I provide those answers as well as suggestions for more profitable keywords that fit within your brand.

Typography

Much like color theory, typography demands a certain feeling from its viewers. You start with simple categories such as serif and sans-serif fonts. Eventually, you get into Art Nouveau & Modernism which evoke a certain culture or even a calmness. Things such as grunge typography transcend the decision of a typeface and become more about the placement on a flyer or the perceived process of applying that typeface to whatever the canvas may be.

Instagram Post Templates

Pictured above, I create premade templates for social media posts. These templates are customized to your brand, You can drag and drop images and change the titles and text to fit whatever the subject of the day may be while creating an overall brand consistency over the course of coming months.

” ‘Understanding your community’ versus ‘Targeting a specific market’ is how brands like Urban Outfitters reach the top 50 in their industry, They see an average of 17 MILLION monthly visits to their website. “
A great place to start any endeavor is to thoroughly understand your target market.
Terms like ‘target Market’ and ‘customer avatar’ are commonly used when discussing a company’s branding.
I prefer to use Community v.s. ‘Target market’ because terminology can be a catalyst for how you approach a branding project.
‘Targeting a specific market’ leads to strong arming of the design, to fit a culture. Ultimately pandering to the viewer.
“People want to be heard, understood and even belong to something, but not be pandered to.”
‘Understanding the community’ versus the prior statement leads to being actively involved with the culture you are trying to provide a service to. If you are posting in the discords, attending the events, and conversing with your community, you gain a much more organic understanding of an ideal brand v.s. peering over the demographics of sales in any given industry. When a client asks me to help them with a complete brand overhaul, I thoroughly invest myself in their industry for at least a week, most of which I have some prior experience with. I provide updates throughout the process and ultimately grant them the keys to scaling their brand through the systems I use.
Ideally, I teach my clients who are willing to learn the systems I use, so they have lifetime scalability at their fingertips.
